The Kirkwall Hotel, Kirkwall

This hotel offers a great view and a very comfy bed, although it only serves tea at breakfast instead of my preferred coffee. The modern bathroom adds to the comfort of the rooms.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and modern, and the bathroom was very updated. The view of the harbor from the half-height wardrobe was lovely. The only downside was that they served tea at breakfast instead of coffee, which I would have preferred.

This hotel offers lovely views of the harbor and has plentiful sofas in the rooms, making it a cozy stay. The service, while including a welcome drink, could be improved. The location is fantastic, right at the harbor on the Kirkwall waterfront, making it easy to find even late at night off the ferry from Shetland. The dining experience is solid, with signature dishes available. The facilities are adequate, though some areas may need updates.
